White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders slapped away a question about the Mueller investigation from CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny during Thursday’s press briefing.

“I’m not sure how we could be any more clear…”

CNN’s Jeff Zeleny said, “This morning the president, marked the one-year anniversary of the Mueller investigation saying it’s disgusting, illegal, unwarranted and a witch hunt.”

“But his own FBI director yesterday said ‘it’s not a witch hunt.’ Why does the White House still believe it’s a witch hunt?” Zeleny asked.

Sanders responded by saying that President Trump knows there’s been no collusion with Russia.

“It’s been going on for over a year, they found no evidence of collusion and still strongly believe that it’s a witch hunt,” Sanders answered in part.

“I’m not sure how we could be any more clear, and certainly not sure how the president could be any more clear about his beliefs and his opinion.” (CONFIRMED: Sarah Sanders Is One Of The 10 Most Admired Women In America)
