A woman is dead and two others are wounded after an argument led to a fatal shooting following an Atlanta area high school’s graduation ceremony.

The shooting happened near Clayton County High School.

The fire department confirmed to the local NBC affiliate, WXIA-TV, that the two gunshot victims were transported to local hospitals.

WXIA-TV reported that one of the victims was a 21-year-old who was shot in the leg. Another woman, who is pregnant, was hospitalized after being pushed — she was not shot. The third victim was also a woman, who was in her 40s, and she was pronounced dead after being shot three times in the chest.

It is not clear whether or not the shooter has been apprehended and what the argument was over that ultimately led to the shooting.

According to the safety chief for all of the schools in the county, Thomas Trawick, the Perry Learning Center is a school that prepares students for careers as an alternative to traditional high schools.

WXIA-TV reporter Ashley Johnson spoke to a witness of the shooting who was there to celebrate her cousin’s graduation. Latrallo Presley said, “We didn’t know what to do. We just ran… running from the parking lot, running from everywhere. People were stumbling over each other.”
