CNN anchor John King called on his parent company, Turner Broadcasting, to make a statement about comedian Sam Bee’s disparaging remarks about Ivanka Trump.

In addition to CNN, Turner owns channel TBS, which hosts Samantha Bee’s late night comedy show.

On her show Wednesday night, Samantha Bee called the first daughter a “feckless cunt” for not opposing President Trump’s immigration policies on migrant children. (RELATED: TBS’s Samantha Bee Calls Ivanka Trump ‘Feckless C**t’)

Bee’s comments have earned her widespread condemnation and King even threw his own network under the bus by asserting that they should make a public statement about Bee.

“Indecent conversation is indecent, period,” King asserted.

“Just apologize,” he said while shuffling the papers on his desk. “And the company — forgive me, I work here — the company should say something too.”

A spokesperson for Turner did not respond to a request for comment in time for publication.
