Bill Clinton is refusing to apologize to Monica Lewinsky and now considers himself a victim in the whole scandal.
Clinton made the incendiary remarks in a recent interview with NBC. In the interview Clinton was remorseless, saying he would not do anything different during the scandal. “If the facts were the same today, I wouldn’t [do anything different]” Clinton said. Clinton got heated in the interview when the anchor, Craig Melvin, asked if he should have resigned. “I think I did the right thing,” Clinton said, “I defended the Constitution.”
Clinton said he never apologized to Lewinsky over the ordeal. “I did say, publicly, on more than one occasion, that I was sorry. The apology was public,” Clinton said, before saying that he did not owe Lewinsky an apology today.
Clinton then said the affair cost him, “Nobody believes that I got out of that for free. I left the White House $16 million in debt.”

In response to the comments, the president’s son, Don Jr. got out the flamethrower. Trump said “Did Bill Clinton just #metoo Monica Lewinsky???” “Props for always being ahead of the curve as the first male to publicly somehow claim victim-hood from his actions against women,” Trump said, “Balsy! Stupid… but balsy!!!”
Did Bill Clinton just #metoo Monica Lewinsky??? I (almost) have no words… Props for always being ahead of the curve as the first male to publicly somehow claim victim-hood from his actions against women. Balsy! Stupid… but balsy!!! https://t.co/Fvn7Cp3OmP

Clinton began a long-term affair with Lewinsky, who was a 22 year-old White House intern at the time, during his presidency. Clinton lied about the affair under oath and was eventually impeached for his lies. Recently, high-profile women in the Democratic party have said Clinton should have resigned.
