Melvin prefaced the reaction to an interview with Clinton in which he addressed the #MeToo movement and his relationship to Monica Lewinsky with a myriad of video clips comparing Clinton to President Trump.

Melvin stated that former Clinton administration press secretary Joe Lockhart “used President Clinton and Donald Trump in the same sentence. Is there any comparison to be made, at least between the two, when you look at their response[s] to allegations like this?’

Jordan, former aide to George W. Bush, responded that there is “absolutely” a connection between Clinton and Trump.

“Both Donald Trump and Bill Clinton are obsessed with their own sense of victimhood. Bill Clinton this morning — it was all about him,” Jordan said.

“You cut to today and current Donald Trump and politics, and it’s all about Donald Trump constantly being the victim and never being accountable for his actions,” Jordan continued.

In an interview Monday, Clinton got heated about questions involving the #MeToo movement and Lewinsky, saying directly to Craig Melvin, “You typically have ignored gaping facts in describing this, and I bet you don’t even know them.” (RELATED: Bill Clinton Gets Heated Under Questioning About Monica Lewinsky)
