White House Releases Menu For Trump-Kim Lunch

The White House released the expected menu for the working lunch between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un Tuesday.

The lunch is scheduled to begin at 11:30am Singapore time and will mark the final phase of the summit with a menu filled with western and Korean style dishes. The summit began at 9am with a one-on-one meeting between Trump and Kim Jong Un, followed by a expanded bilateral meeting including top advisers to both men.

The U.S. personnel at the lunch include White House chief of staff John Kelly, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and National Security Advisor John Bolton, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Ambassador Sung Kim and National Security Council Senior Director for Asia Matt Pottinger.

Kim Jong Un was also accompanied by a coterie of senior staff. The White House listed them as:

Mr. Kim Yong Chol, Vice-Chairman, Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea
Mr. Ri Su Yong, Vice-Chairman, Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea
Mr. Ri Yong Ho, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Mr. No Kwang Chol, Minister of People’s Armed Forces
Ms. Choe Son Hui, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs
Ms. Kim Yo Jong, First Deputy Director, Central Committee of Workers’ Party of Korea
Mr. Han Kwang Sang, Director, Central Committee of Workers’ Party of Korea
