White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued a positive update on National Economic Council Director Larry Kudlow’s health after he suffered a heart attack earlier this week.
Sanders’ statement reads, “…Assistant to the president Larry Kudlow was discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center earlier today. Doctors say Larry’s recovery is going very well. The President and the administration are happy Larry is back home and look forward to seeing him back to work soon.”
Sanders said in previous statements that Kudlow’s heart attack was “mild” and that his doctors expect him to make a full and speedy recovery. Trump first revealed the news of Kudlow’s heart attack minutes before meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore.
Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack. He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center.
