Deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah went after a CBS reporter Thursday, saying a previously reported story alleging both Shah and White House press secretary Sarah Sanders were leaving the White House is “misleading.”
Shah tweeted that CBS told him “the story was not running” and that Sanders said CBS reported the story “without ever actually talking to me.”

CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe claimed the outlet reached out to Sanders Wednesday night and she did not respond, although Shah said he did respond when asked for comment and was assured that the story would not run.

The original CBS report claimed Shah and Sanders were leaving the White House, syaing Sanders plans to leave at the end of this year.
