Former Republican Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz called for the unmasking of biased agents within the FBI , in light of the recently released Inspector General report.

“These people need to be unmasked. They need to be held accountable. The American people, the taxpayers who pay their bill — we should know exactly who they are,” Chaffetz said on “Fox & Friends” Friday. (RELATED: Chaffetz Calls Out ‘Deep State’ For Not Revealing Clinton Docs)

“I didn’t see this one coming, but the incestuous nature of the FBI and the media — remember, we had a report earlier last week and last week about somebody who was sleeping with the security official and the Senate Intel Committee. But now this report comes out. I see over 330 instances of documented times, unauthorized, that they’re communicating with the media.”

“If I had been in Congress and done that, the FBI agents would have come after me,” he added.

Chaffetz praised the work of Inspector General Michael Horowitz and said Congress must identify agents within the federal government who have been corrupted.

“Fortunately Michael Horowitz did a wonderful job,” Chaffetz concluded. “This is sort of the precursor or chapter one of flushing out the animus and the bias at the top echelon of the FBI. They need to flush that out of their system. They have to unmask to Congress.”
