Kylie Jenner was attacked on social media after she posted a series of throwback shots wishing Caitlyn Jenner a Happy Father’s Day Sunday.
The 20-year-old reality star posted several pictures from her childhood on Instagram of her and her sister, Kendall Jenner, with their father before the transition.
The caption next to the shot had a sweet message that read, “So lucky to have you.”
Several people decided that by doing so meant she was was not being “accepting” of her dad’s decision, according to Buzzfeed. Others wrote that, Caitlyn “deserves better” and it was “disrespectful” of Kylie.
Many of the reality star’s followers then came to her defense and blasted the comments.
“Look if you got nothing nice to say get out of here!!! You ain’t gonna come to Kylie’s page and be rude you understand!!!” one person wrote.
A handful of other people noted that the Olympic gold medalist has already said it’s fine for her kids to call her dad.
In an interview from WWD in 2015, Kendall Jenner said Caitlyn was her dad and always will be regardless of his “physical” appearance.
“My dad is my dad, but he’s not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad– that’s the last little piece of dad I’ve got,” the 22-year-old super model explained.
