The White House shared a behind-the-scenes look at King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan’s visit to the White House.
“It’s a great honor to have the King and Queen of Jordan with us. They’re friends,” President Donald Trump shared, as the couple joined him and the first lady in the Oval Office. “We’ve known each other now for quite a while. The president and Melania welcomed the leaders to the White House Monday. After a brief visit in the Oval Office, the first lady and the queen shared tea together and talked about issues facing both their countries.
“A great visit with the King & Queen of Jordan. @POTUS & I were glad to welcome them back to the @Whitehouse. @QueenRania & I shared an open & productive discussion about the many issues our countries are challenged with today,” FLOTUS captioned her post Monday, along with several shots from the visit.
