Conservative actor James Woods tweeted out a screenshot of an email from his agent Ken Kaplan saying that he no longer wished to represent Woods because he was “feeling patriotic” on the Fourth of July.

“So this email from my agent (a political liberal) today…” Woods’ tweet was captioned.

The body of the email read, “It’s the 4th of July and I’m feeling patriotic. I don’t want to represent you anymore. I mean I could go on a rant but you know what I’d say.”

The email did not explicitly state Kaplan’s reason for terminating their work agreement, but the evidence suggests Kaplan, someone who’s liberal, was fed up with Woods, his conservative client.

“Dear Ken, I don’t actually. I was thinking if you’re feeling patriotic, you would appreciate free speech and one’s right to think as an individual,” Woods later tweeted out his response to Kaplan. “Be that as it may, I want to thank you for all your hard work and devotion on my behalf.”

Last month, Woods encouraged Republicans to get armed and to vote following Rep. Maxine Water’s implicit advocation of violence against Trump officials. (RELATED: JAMES WOODS ISSUES WARNING TO CONSERVATIVES AFTER MAXINE WATERS RANT)
