A man in Texas was arrested for allegedly stealing panties from a Victoria’s Secret on June 30, amounting to a total of 612 panties reportedly stolen from that particular store over his theft career.

The alleged thief, Efrain Gutierrez, was caught Thursday by a loss prevention officer after attempting to steal 61 pairs of underwear from a single table, according to the KHOU 11 report. He allegedly stole over $10,000 in merchandise from several stores in the mall where the Victoria’s Secret was located.

Gutierrez wore the same orange shirt each time he stole, police told KHOU 11. He also allegedly had illegal drugs on him at the time of the arrest, although it is unclear from the police report which drugs specifically. His bail is set at $15,000, according to the KHOU 11 report. (RELATED: Chris Brown Has Been Arrested. Here’s What We Know)

After another large theft in a Florida Victoria’s Secret, a former police chief said Victoria’s Secret’s layout lends itself to theft in a February 2017 article from Fox 4.

“Obviously, the front door is in [front] and the registers are toward the rear. Everything that’s set up in the front of the store is easy pickings for shoplifters,” former Police Chief Walt Zalisko told Fox 4.
