Former Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin went after comedian Sacha Baron Cohen in a Facebook post after he disguised himself as a wounded vet for an undercover television show on Tuesday.

“I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick ‘humor’ of the British ‘comedian’ Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime,” it began.

She said that she believed this was a chance to “‘honor American Vets and contribute to a ‘legit Showtime historical documentary.'”

“For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all,” it continued.

Sacha Baron Cohen is a comedian that is known for going right up to — if not crossing — the line. Cohen tweeted out a trailer video that included Dick Cheney signing a waterboard kit. The video began with the phrase, “Imagine if Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year…”

“Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country,” Palin concluded.

The Drudge Report tweeted a warning saying, “This time for CBS/SHOWTIME. Lots of tricks played. Both Republicans and Democrats are getting caught up in the madness. Sacha has finked Cheney, Palin, Howard Dean, Alberto Gonzales, Bernie, Trent Lott, Petraeus, Ted Koppel, and more… BEWARE!”
