Plurality Of Democratic Women Want Hillary To Run Again

Despite failing to beat Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election, a plurality of female Democratic voters want Hillary Clinton to try again in 2020.

According to a Morning Consult poll, Democrats are split among gender lines as to whether or not they want the former secretary of state to give her presidential ambitions another try. (RELATED: New Poll Delivers Big Blow To Hillary Clinton’s 2020 Hopes)

A majority of Democratic men — 55 percent — think that Clinton should not run again.

But a plurality of Democratic women — 45 percent — believe that Clinton should give it another go, compared to 39 percent of Democratic women who think she should sit the next round out. (RELATED: Hillary Clinton Running In 2020? It Sure Sounds Like It)

Overall a 46-percent plurality of Democratic voters said that Clinton should not run again in 2020. Of all voters, 63 percent agreed that she should not run again.

Unlike many past presidential candidates, Clinton has refused to leave the spotlight after her 2016 loss, angering many Democrats who want fresh faces to lead the party. (RELATED: Dems Ask Hillary Clinton To Sit Out A Couple Plays After Latest Deplorable Comments)
