Superstar musician Chance the Rapper now controls a website that he vows will force Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel from office and “run you racist bastards out of business.”

WYNC, founder of  Chicagoist and other similar internet locales, told Fox News of the transaction while including some more insight from Chance.

“I’m extremely excited to be continuing the work of the Chicagoist, an integral local platform for Chicago news, events and entertainment,” Chance informed Fox.

“WNYC’s commitment to finding homes for the -ist brands, including Chicagoist, was an essential part of continuing the legacy and integrity of the site. I look forward to re-launching it and bringing the people of Chicago an independent media outlet focused on amplifying diverse voices and content.”

So why is Chance out for Emanuel? The rapper objects to a $95 million police training program that was one of the consequences of a U.S. Department of Justice report accusing the cops of using excessive force when dealing with blacks.

As the entertainer explains in a song, it’s not the training per se he objects to: “And Rahm, you done. I’m expectin’ resignation … an open investigation on all of these paid vacations for murderers,” Chance raps.

Emanuel is apparently no fan of Chance either. When the rapper addressed the Chicago council last year to provide his policy advice on how the city should be spending its money, the mayor withdrew from the room.
