“If she is watching, I am so sorry you thought I was racist and you thought my tweet was racist. Because it wasn’t. It was political. I am sorry for the misunderstanding that [was] caused [by] my ill-worded tweet,” Barr stated.

She continued, “I am sorry that you feel harm and hurt. I never meant that and for that I apologize. I never meant to hurt anybody or say anything negative about an entire race of people ,which I think 30 years of my work can attest to.”

“Plus, I’d tell her she has to get a new haircut. I mean seriously, she needs a new haircut,” Roseanne concluded.

This was Barr’s first televised interview since her new show, the reboot of Roseanne, was cancelled following racially insensitive tweets that were directed at Jarrett. ABC has announced a plan to bring the show back, minus the main character. (RELATED: Hollywood Hypocrites Call For James Gunn To Be Rehired, Roseanne Barr Remains ‘Blacklisted’)
