On today’s Daily Daily Caller Podcast, the discussion focuses on the meeting between President Donald Trump and New York Times publisher AG Sulzberger and the latter’s claim that the president calling journalists “enemies of the people” is putting journalists in physical danger.

The elite media, led by the Times, is very upset that the president calls them “fake news” and an “enemy of the people,” but they don’t seem to have a problem with members of the media who call the president “Hitler” and Republicans “Nazis.” Journalists fear someone might attack them because of what the president calls them, yet they have no concern that someone might attack Republicans over what they call them. In fact, Republicans were attacked on a baseball field in Virginia last year by a leftist who believed the rhetoric that the GOP health plan would kill tens of thousands of people each year. James Hodgkinson, an ardent supporter of Bernie Sanders and leftists causes, tried to gun down as many Republicans as he could because he believed the liberal’s rhetoric.

Employees at AG’s own newspaper have a habit of comparing Trump and Republicans to history’s greatest monsters, but Sulzberger doesn’t seem to mind that. Of course, if someone truly believed Nazism has seized the government, they’d almost have a moral obligation to act against it. Democrats are hoping that “action” against it is at the ballot box, and they’re willing to risk the prospect of one of their violent fringe members getting violent (again) to motivate their base. It’s a dangerous game that the publisher of the New York Times is either unaware of or perfectly fine with.

And the city of Austin, Texas, may change its name because its namesake was not “woke” nearly 200 years ago. Can’t make this stuff up.
