MSNBC celebrated Andrea Mitchell’s 40-year anniversary at the network by airing a montage of establishmentarians praising her years of journalism.

The video, which features former Bush and Obama officials and some veteran journalists, aired on MSNBC on Tuesday afternoon during Mitchell’s show.
The establishment figures fawned over Mitchell.
Former Vice President Joe Biden, for example, told Mitchell that she “always speaks truth to power” and insisted that she is “completely straight down the line.”
“I can remember … what a wonderful reporter you were — a hell of a reporter, in fact,” added James Baker, former chief of staff for Ronald Reagan.
“I have so appreciated listening to you and I have loved being on your program but, most of all, I have loved our friendship,” former Secretary of State Madeline Albright gushed.
Mitchell smiled with smug satisfaction throughout the entire montage.
