President Trump held a raucous rally in Tampa, Florida, Tuesday night. Thousands of supporters packed the arena to hear Trump hammer his critics in Congress and also attack the media.

During his speech, Trump stopped to attack one of his favorite targets, the media in the room. The president heckled the press as “fake news” and the audience reacted accordingly.

One of the favorite targets of the audience was CNN’s Jim Acosta, who tweeted multiple videos of the crowd mocking him and blaming Trump for the vitriol, saying, “I’m very worried that the hostility whipped up by Trump and some in conservative media will result in somebody getting hurt.”

In response, conservative firebrand Ben Shapiro called Acosta out for his hypocrisy, noting multiple times that conservatives have been violently attacked by liberals while the greater media remained silent.

Last month when Hunter Richard was attacked (had his MAGA hat stolen and was called a racial slur by a leftist while sitting peacefully in a Texas restaurant), Acosta said nothing.
