Marine Corps veteran Chris White leapt from the stands at Houston’s Minute Maid Park during the final play between the Astros and the Texas Rangers this week.

The lanky, bearded veteran stripped down to his underwear to reveal a very patriotic ensemble. American flag boxer shorts and shoes were all White wore as he tore across the field, pursued by police.

The +42,000 people in attendance watched the veteran elude multiple police officers with ease. One officer even lept dramatically to catch White. But he was no match for the veteran.

White sprinted through the outfield, breaking away from at least one attempted tackle before finally giving up the ghost and surrendering to the helpless security officers.

So this happened right after the last out of tonights blow out: Rangers 11, Astros 2.Freedom Hard hahah run Chris run lol this is how hard he freedom's lol #Merica Check this out ya'll lol glad I wasn't working tonight hahah.

According to Click 2 Houston  the veteran was attempting to make buzz over his non-profit. White told the publication.

“If I can make you laugh for at least five minutes, then you’re not thinking about that dark space that you can potentially be in. And if I can gear it toward patriotism, to me, I consider that the holy grail.”
