The RNC has dropped a new video featuring clips of Democratic Socialist congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s more ham-handed answers to media questions over the past month on the campaign trail.

Ocasio-Cortez was referred to as the “future” of the party by DNC Chairman Tom Perez and has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity since her underdog win against a Democrat incumbent in June.

The RNC ad features multiple clips from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in recent interviews making nonsensical or outright false statements about the military, Israel, the economy and Nancy Pelosi.

The clips are interspersed with a famous scene from the film “Billy Madison,” in which a high school principle berates Adam Sandler’s character for a dumb answer.

“What you’ve just said… Is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

– High School Principal Max Anderson in Billy Madison

A recent Washington Post fact check article found five recent claims made by Ocasio-Cortez to be false. Politifact has rated multiple claims of hers ‘Pants On Fire.’
