This ex-girlfriend ain’t going away without a brawl.
Karen Monahan, a former girlfriend to Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), is now bringing the beleaguered congressman’s daughter into the fray.
The scandal exploded about a week ago when Monahan’s son alleged that he saw a video in which Ellison dragged his mother from a bed by her feet and kicked her out of his house.
Ellison, who won Tuesday’s primary for state attorney general despite the claim of domestic violence, strongly denies the charges.
In this tweet, Monahan is bizarrely publicly counseling Ellison about his only daughter, Amirah. The congressman has three sons: Elijah, Isaiah and Jeremiah.

In a statement, Ellison said there simply is no video.
“Karen and I were in a long-term relationship which ended in 2016, and I still care deeply for her well-being,” he said. “This video does not exist because I never behaved in this way, and any characterization otherwise is false.”
