President Trump Mourns The Loss Of Mollie Tibbetts During Rally

President Trump brought up the murder of Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts by an illegal immigrant during his rally in West Virginia on Tuesday night. “It should have never happened,” he said.

“You heard about today with the illegal alien coming in, very sadly from Mexico, and you saw what happened to that incredible, beautiful young woman. It should have never happened. Illegally in our country,” the president stated.

He continued, “We have had a huge impact, but the laws are so bad, and the laws are such a disgrace but we are getting them changed. But we have to get more Republicans.”

A Mexican national illegally residing in the U.S. has been charged with first degree murder in the disappearance and death of Iowa college student Mollie Tibbetts, officials said at a press conference at Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office in Iowa Tuesday afternoon. (RELATED: Illegal Immigrant Charged With Murder Of Iowa College Student Mollie Tibbetts)

Christian Bahena Rivera, 24, was charged with murder. He had resided in the area for four to seven years, officials said. He led investigators to the body’s location after confirming that he interacted with her while she was running and she felt threatened by him.

President Trump was in West Virginia campaigning for Republican Patrick Morrisey who is running against incumbent Senator Joe Manchin.
