Thom Dunn, a contributor for Upworthy and self-described “rock star,” claimed that the deportation of a 95-year-old Nazi was “elder abuse.”

While many have praised the Trump administration for negotiating the deportation of the last-known Nazi living in the United States, Dunn managed to have a negative take on the situation.

“P.S. Deporting a 95-year-old Nazi guard is a really great way to use elder abuse as plausible deniability for your xenophobic white nationalist sympathies,” Dunn wrote, ascribing malicious motives to the Trump administration.

Dunn’s tweet got ratioed with replies mocking him and telling him to delete his Twitter account.

Dunn later complained about the backlash he was receiving.
