I’ve had an Amazon Fire Stick for a few years now (I think I got it for Christmas 2015), and it has been a complete game changer for my TV consumption. I can watch Netflix or Amazon Prime or HBOGO or any variety of streaming channels simply by changing the input on my television.

An Amazon Fire Stick is good for me, since I don’t have a 4K TV. But if your screen does give you an Ultra HD picture, you should probably get Amazon’s Fire TV. Now is the perfect time to get it, as long as it is over 40percent off:

The best part of Fire TVs? You can pair them with an Echo or Echo Dot and turn TV-watching into a handsfree experience. Photo via Amazon
