Michael Avenatti, the attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels, boasted about his legal and media strategy Wednesday, seemingly taking credit for the guilty plea by President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney.

“It is eerily quiet this morning,” Avenatti tweeted. “For some reason, for the first time in six months, I don’t have to listen to some pundit criticize my legal or media strategy today.”

“Nor do I have to listen to how my media appearances aren’t advancing the case. Where did you go?” he continued.

Michael Cohen pleaded guilty in court the previous day to tax evasion, bank fraud and campaign finance violations. The campaign finance plea was in reference to pre-election payoffs to women Cohen made allegedly “at the direction” of the president included Avenatti’s client, Daniels. (RELATED: Avenatti Responds To Cohen Deal With Warning Shot To Giuliani: ‘Buckle Up, Buttercup’)

In return for Cohen’s guilty plea, he will not be required to testify against anyone.
