“Morning Joe” guest Donny Deutsch claimed “history will look kindly” on attorney Michael Cohen and said on MSNBC Wednesday that Cohen will be the one to bring down the Trump presidency.

“It’s easy to sometimes forget that these people are people. You know? We see Michael Cohen, [President Donald] Trump’s attorney … We forget people are going through this,” Deutsch said. (RELATED: MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch Refers To Secret Service As ‘Fluffers’ Who Pump Up President Trump)

“I believe, and I’ve said this from the beginning, that Michael Cohen will be a pivotal, if not the pivotal figure that will bring down the Trump presidency,” he added.

Deutsch said history will judge Cohen more fairly as time passes and said Cohen is looking forward to sitting down with special counsel Robert Mueller to discuss the president.

“I believe history will look kindly on Michael Cohen,” Deutsch continued.

He also claimed Cohen has enough evidence to tie the president to meetings with Russia and will help Mueller prove collusion.

“Michael Cohen obviously plead guilty to those counts … and as [lawyer] Lanny Davis mentioned yesterday, he really is looking forward to talking with Mueller,” he concluded. “Mueller reaches out to him in corroborating any stories. I’ve also talked about in the past that Michael, I believe will be able to tie Trump to those meetings and to collusion.”
