During a White House press briefing on Wednesday, Sanders denounced the idea of delaying Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing and called Democrats “desperate” and “pathetic” for trying to do so.

“This is a desperate and pathetic attempt by Democrats to obstruct a very highly qualified nominee,” Sanders said in response to a question by Fox Radio Network’s Jon Decker. “The hearing date has been set for September 4 and Judge Kavanaugh will be there.”
