I like my MacBook. I’ve owned a MacBook since before college, and I find the product so user-friendly that whenever something has happened to one (like when I spilled tonic water on my MacBook in my dorm…oops!), I have always opted for another MacBook as a replacement.
If there is one downside to Apple’s laptop product, it is that there really are not enough ports. There’s no way, in other words, to connect your laptop to another screen with an HDMI or VGA cable, to connect it to the internet with an ethernet port, no way to insert an TF/SD card, etc. And it only has two USB ports which is nowhere near enough. The solution, as longtime MacBook owners know, is to get various adapters for the desired cables. But those crowd your desk even further and take away valuable other inputs in the process. Not great!
I just discovered a better answer to this problem. Instead of several adapters, you can get just one. This USB-C adapter can serve as a hub for all the inputs you need. Seriously ALL of them.
