CNN’s primetime ratings are so abysmal that the network is being handed losses by Fox News’ Sunday media show, “MediaBuzz.”

Despite boasting a primetime lineup of Chris Cuomo, Anderson Cooper, and Don Lemon, CNN’s primetime ratings fell by 12 percent in the month of August. CNN drew an average of just 1,052,000 total viewers across the month and 346,000 in the 25-54 age group — a 17 percent decrease. Meanwhile, “MediaBuzz,” a Sunday morning FNC show hosted by media analyst Howard Kurtz at 11 a.m., managed to bring in 1.2 million viewers.

CNN has been heavily promoting “Cuomo Primetime” ever since anchor Chris Cuomo left the network’s morning show, “New Day,” to host the new program.

While “Cuomo Primetime” was CNN’s top-rated program, it still finished 22nd in the weekday news program ratings and managed only 1.1 million viewers in August.

Fox News’ “Hannity” was the top-rated news program with 2.8 million viewers, while MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show” trailed in second with 2.7 million viewers.
