President Donald Trump attacked the victor of the Florida Democratic gubernatorial primary and celebrated his handpicked candidate.
Not only did Congressman Ron DeSantis easily win the Republican Primary, but his opponent in November is his biggest dream….a failed Socialist Mayor named Andrew Gillum who has allowed crime & many other problems to flourish in his city. This is not what Florida wants or needs!

DeSantis has long been a staunch ally of Trump in the House of Representatives and saw his approval skyrocket in the polls after the president inserted himself into the primary race. Trump repeatedly urged Florida voters to go out and vote for DeSantis and held a rally to boost the congressman’s chances.
DeSantis’s opponent is Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum who was endorsed by Sen. Bernie Sanders and socialist darling Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez. Trump accused Gillium of being a “failed socialist mayor” in what will likely be a string of attacks heading into November.
