A pastor at Aretha Franklin’s funeral got incredibly close with superstar singer Ariana Grande on Friday.

Bishop Charles Ellis III can be seen with his hand wrapped tightly around Grande’s side and dangerously close to her right breast for nearly a minute. Grande was performing a tribute to the late Queen of Soul at her Friday funeral.

“I’ve got to apologize because I have to brush up,” Ellis said, holding Grande close.

Grande seemed to be uncomfortable with the way Ellis is touching her and was leaning away from him for the duration of the encounter.

“When I saw Ariana Grande on the program, I thought that was a new something at Taco Bell,” Ellis joked.

“Oh my god,” Grande laughed, as Ellis pulled her into his side and then gave her a tight hug.

“Girl, let me give you all your respect,” the bishop continued. “Did you all enjoy this icon? She’s an icon herself.”
