Sunshades serve a definite purpose, blocking 98 percent of UV rays from entering your car. For one, they are crucial if you have a baby, since the sun can be very damaging. Even if you don’t they can protect you from the oppressive heat of the looming summer sunshine. I understand why you might not think you need to use sunshades (unless you have a baby…then it doesn’t make any sense). But when you can get a 4-pack for just $11, or 82 percent of the typical price, there is less of an obvious reason not to have them in your vehicle.
