Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tried prepping her party’s troops for the upcoming midterms, with a message Tuesday telling them to “be ready” to take back the House of Representatives.

Pelosi put out a press release on her official website. “As we approach the end of this Congress, we must Be Ready for the prospect that we will be in the Majority in January,” she said. (RELATED: Nancy Pelosi Calls Mitch McConnell Racist For Opposing Obama But Supports Stonewalling Trump)

Pelosi reviewed a broad hypothetical agenda for House Democrats if they were to take power and it included lowering health care costs and cleaning up corruption to stimulate economic growth.

“For The People: Lowering health care costs and prescription drug prices; Increasing pay through strong economic growth by rebuilding America; Cleaning up corruption to make Washington work for the American people,” she wrote.

She also slammed congressional Republicans for failing to pass gun control and for failing to protect illegal immigrant “dreamers.”

“We have repeatedly called for Republicans to bring up vital legislation to protect Dreamers and to advance gun violence prevention,” Pelosi wrote. “We must Be Ready to act on these measures that have bipartisan support in Congress and across the country.”

“Let us continue this conversation with our Ranking Members and with each other in the coming weeks,” she concluded. “Thank you for your leadership on behalf of your constituents and all of the American people.”
