Bob Woodward is out with a new book detailing alleged vulgar conversations, palace intrigue and drama inside the Trump White House. The book, titled ‘Fear: Trump In The White House,’ has caused a stir among reporters and administration officials alike with its anonymous sourcing of detailed conversations and wild accusations.

Sarah Sanders was asked about the book in the White House driveway in between interviews Wednesday. Sanders called the book “rehashed retold stories” that are “anonymously sourced “according to CBS reporter Mark Knoller.  “I am into fiction like Gen. Mattis, so maybe I’ll take a look at this one,” Sanders said.

Mattis, who is mentioned in the book multiple times, said of the quotes that are attributed to him, “The contemptuous words about the president attributed to me in Woodward’s book were never uttered by me or in my presence.” Mattis continued in a written statement released Tuesday, “While I generally enjoy reading fiction, this is a uniquely Washington brand of literature, and his anonymous sources do not lend credibility.”
