Two former girlfriends of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh stood by him — and said they have no recollection of any party like the one described by Kavanaugh’s accuser — on “The Story With Martha MacCallum” on Monday night.

WATCH:

“Maura Fitzgerald, did you know this woman? You both went to the high school. He went to sort of the brother high school to that Georgetown Prep. She went to a different high school. Do you know this woman Christine Blasey Ford?” MacCallum asked.

Fitzgerald said not only did she not know the woman, but that the name didn’t even ring a bell.

Conversely, Kane said, “Yes I did know who she was. I had seen her at parties. She went to a different school but I knew who she was but I did not know her well. We were not friends, I just knew who she was.”

Both women also went on to say they had no knowledge of the party that MacCallum described as “a party at a pool house you know somewhere near the club where everyone used to hang out.”

Kane said in a statement earlier on Monday, “I’ve been friends with Brett Kavanaugh for over 35 years and dated him during high school. In every situation where we were together, he always respectful, kind and thoughtful. The accusations leveled against him in no way represent the decent young man I knew.” (RELATED: Two Of Brett Kavanaugh’s Ex-Girlfriends Stand By Him)
