A Florida man is under fire for insisting on doing his yard work naked.
The unnamed man, who resides in Stuart, Florida, has reportedly been doing his outdoor chores completely nude, and many of his neighbors have complained.
“He works on his car, and he does it naked and everyone has called the police, he is just out there doing his yard work … naked,” his neighbor Melissa Ny told WBPF-News.
His other neighbor, Charlie Estes, is concerned that small children in the area may catch a glimpse of him accidentally.
“Have some respect … Kids catch the bus here. It’s wrong,” he said.
Multiple neighbors have called the police on the man to no avail.
Police say they can’t do anything since he’s “not touching himself inappropriately,” and he’s only naked on his own private property.
The man, who has chosen to remain anonymous, has only said he and his family are “private people.”
Which is the absolute kicker. I’m totally with the naked guy on this one. He’s on his private property and he’s not hurting anyone. Do you know how hot it is in Florida around this time of year? It’s inhumane to have to wear any clothes while you weed wack. Especially on your own private property. How dare these nosey neighbors interfere with his life like this? If you don’t like it, don’t look. Better yet, move away. This is America. I thought we had a right to privacy.
