NBC host Megyn Kelly slammed Democrats on Thursday for the way they’ve handled sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

WATCH:

Dr. Christine Ford sent a confidential letter to Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein in July alleging that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were in high school.

“I think Dianne Feinstein bears a lot of the blame here because this woman found a way to come forward and Dianne Feinstein buried it,” Kelly said. “The reason you need a process first and foremost is so that women feel like they have a place to go.”

“Why wouldn’t Dianne Feinstein say, at least anonymously, to Brett Kavanaugh when she met with him one on one, ‘I’ve received a serious allegation, I want to raise it with you,'” Kelly continued. “She didn’t have to name her.”

NBC legal analyst Dan Goldman argued that Dr. Christine Ford came forward anonymously because she “didn’t want to be put through the ringer.”

“The Democrats leaked it,” Kelly shot back to another panelist who lamented the fact that Ford was identified. “The Democrats leaked it. They outed her. They’re the ones that had the name.”
