Justin Bieber may almost be a married man but he’s still tying up some loose ends before he exchanges vows with model Hailey Baldwin.
Initial reports suggested that the Canadian singer, 25, was not planning on getting a prenup before he married his several-month-fiance. Sources close to the couple claimed Baldwin and Bieber were too religious for a prenup and were taking the “until death do us part,” vows pretty seriously.
But conflicting reports are now indicating that the couple is actually lawyering up and going ahead with a prenup before marriage.
It seems it may have taken some convincing, or at least counseling, to get Bieber behind the idea of a prenup but he’s giving it the green light now.
I feel like Justin Bieber doesn’t get enough credit for how smart he is. Sure, he’s known for crashing his expensive cars about several times a year, he’s rushing into marriage with a girl he’s known for about six months, and he’s been arrested from everything for DUI to assault. But this Bieber kid seems to know what he’s doing. Getting a prenup when you’re worth over $250 mil is the kind of stuff Einstein would be impressed with.
