Comedian Jimmy Kimmel mocked Lindsey Graham with a gay joke Thursday night after the Republican senator defended Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during his hearing.

“Some of the Republican senators put on quite a show of fabricated outrage today, in particular Lindsey Graham,” Kimmel said on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday. “Once Dr. Ford was safely out of the room, Lindsey Graham really laid down the law.” (RELATED: Jimmy Kimmel Says Brett Kavanaugh Should Have His ‘Pesky Penis’ Cut Off If He’s Confirmed To Supreme Court)

“He warned Democrats that if this is the new normal … they better watch out for their Supreme Court nominees. As if Merrick Garland isn’t out there somewhere judging a dog show right now. And once he got some camera time, somebody must have told Lindsey Graham Donald Trump was watching, because he lit up like someone left a thumb tack on Liberace’s piano bench.”

WATCH:

Kimmel played a clip of Graham accusing the Democrats of smearing Kavanaugh and said they were “legitimizing the most despicable thing” he had ever seen.

“Over and over again, the Republicans and Kavanaugh made it clear they do not want the FBI to get involved in this,” Kimmel concluded. “[Mark] Judge is the other guy Dr. Ford claims jumped on her, but they refuse to call him in to testify. How do you not call the other guy she said was in the room? It’s like questioning Beavis and not Butt-Head. It doesn’t make sense.”
