Rapper Cardi B is expected to turn herself in Monday to face charges of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct in New York.
The charges stem from an alleged fight at a strip club back in August. TMZ reported the following details:
Sources familiar with the case tell TMZ, Cardi will be charged for allegedly ordering an attack on 2 bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens NY. The 2 bartenders — Jade and Baddie Gi — say Cardi had a long-standing beef with Jade because Cardi believed she had slept with Offset,
Cardi — who was at the Strip Club because Migos was performing — came face-to-face with the 2 bartenders and allegedly told her posse to attack them with bottles and chairs. The 2 women were both badly hurt and required medical care.
TMZ doesn’t make this sound like it’s a terrible serious situation. In fact, according to the same report, she will only get a summons to appear in court. So, she won’t even be locked up as of right now.

As everybody knows, you need a little street credibility in the rap game. That’s just how the industry works. You can’t have people thinking you’re soft. Allegedly ordering a strip club attack is certainly one hell of a way to get credibility in the rap game. There’s no question about that at all. If I were Cardi, I might not even fight the charges too hard. It might not be the worst thing if people think you’re out in the streets like a mafia boss just ordering beatdowns. On the flip side, she also just recently gave birth. Being in strip clubs and allegedly being part of a brawl isn’t exactly the greatest look for a new mother at all. Just a little food for thought.
