Kanye West has big plans for Colin Kaepernick — so long as he’s willing to hop on a plane bound for Washington, D.C.

West is in the TMZ studios ahead of his appearance on TMZ Live on Monday and spoke with Harvey Levin about his plan to bring people together. He says he’s been on the phone trying to get in touch with Kaepernick so he can bring him to the White House and have a conversation with Donald Trump about anthem protests.

“We never give up on anyone,” West told Levin emphatically. “Now let me even make that more positive. We move forward. We give love. We keep going. We keep having the conversation. Until the conversation turns to love. We keep going. I’ve been calling Colin this morning, reaching him, so I can bring Colin to the White House. And we can remove that ‘sons of bitches’ statement. And we can be on the same page.”

Of course, that “sons of bitches” statement Kanye is talking about refers to the time Trump called for NFL anthem protestors to be fired if they refused to stand.

And while getting these two men to talk might be hard, if anyone can do it, it’s gotta be Kanye. His wife has worked closely with the president on prison reform and Kanye now seems to have a working Twitter relationship with the Commander in Chief.

We’ll have to wait and see.
