Melania will be traveling to Ghana, Malawi, Kenya and Egypt to visit schools, hospitals and American missions and embassies in her week long trip.

Melania often focuses on children in her travels overseas and domestically. The first lady was welcomed to Ghana with a ceremony as she exited her aircraft. Melania accepted a bouquet of flowers from a girl on the runway and gave her a hug.
