Adam Sasser was dismissed from the Georgia Bulldogs baseball team late Wednesday afternoon.

Sasser was accused of using a racial slur against star freshman quarterback Justin Fields while at an event during the Bulldogs blowout win against Tennessee last Saturday. It’s unclear what Sasser was specifically accused of stating, but Sports Illustrated included both of the tweets below in their report.

You simply have to be an idiot to do what Sasser has been accused of doing. In what world is it appropriate to use racial slurs against anybody? On top of that, why would you ever say something insanely stupid surrounded by witnesses? That’s next-level dumb. (RELATED: I’VE BEEN ACCUSED OF LOVING FOOTBALL TOO MUCH. LET’S LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE)

As for Fields, I hope he just blocks out the noise and keeps balling out. The man has some mad skills on the gridiron.

He can focus on slinging the rock and scoring touchdowns. People who want to say stupid things can focus on getting lost in the noise and relegated to the dustbin of society.
