Hollywood Melts Down After Sen. Collins Announces She Will Vote For Judge Brett Kavanaugh

Following Republican Senator Susan Collins’ announcement that she will vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Friday afternoon, many celebrities took to Twitter to express their frustration.

Collins was widely viewed as the last hope for Democrats. At the time, Democrat Joe Manchin and Republican Lisa Murkowski had already broken party lines during the cloture vote. With them flip-flopping, the Senate was still viewed as being 51-49 in favor of confirming Kavanaugh. But, a vote the other way by Collins could’ve swung another Senator in a different direction.
