A lone protester questioned why her anti-Kavanaugh group was going to Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp’s office on Friday.
A video posted to Twitter by Jason Howerton showed a group of anti-Kavanaugh protesters chanting that they were going to Heitkamp’s office. It is unclear what the protesters’ intentions are as Heitkamp, the Democratic Senator from North Dakota, already announced on Thursday that she was going to vote “no” on Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Only one protester questioned why the group would target Heitkamp, saying, “Why? She’s on our side.”
Rather than addressing the concerns of the lone protester, the group leader ignored her and continued to address the swarm of anti-Kavanaugh protesters.
