Khabib Nurmagomedov might lose up to $2 million for his antics after beating Conor McGregor at UFC 229 over the weekend.

The fighting star was due to make a guaranteed $2 million for just showing up, but the money is currently being kept from him by the Nevada Gaming Commission.

“Listen, they took his whole purse right now, and they’re talking about keeping his whole purse. I do not think that should happen. You should not be able to keep his whole purse. I think they should take a quarter of a million dollars from him,” White told TMZ. (RELATED: Conor McGregor‘s Return To The UFC Was An Absolute Circus. Check Out The Crazy Videos)

I’m falling in the middle of the road here. Khabib jumping out of the octagon was an insanely stupid idea. It’s arguably one of the dumbest decisions in the recent history of sports.

Should he be fined his full purse? Probably not, but he needs to be fined a hell of a lot more than just $250,000. What he did put tons of people at risk of getting hurt. It also allowed somebody to jump into the octagon and start swinging on McGregor.

Fine the man at least $1 million. That’s a minimum. I could be convinced to put the number much higher. Play stupid games and you’ll win stupid prizes.
