President Donald Trump reacted to Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren’s release of her DNA test results, while departing for areas affected by Hurricane Michael.

“Who cares?” Trump declared when asked about Warren’s test results reportedly showing she is somewhere between 1/32 to 1/512 Native American. When asked whether he would continue his pledge to donate 1 million dollars to charity if she could prove her ancestry, Trump replied “I didn’t say that, you better read it again.”

The president added that he hopes Warren runs for president saying, “I think she would be very easy. I hope that she is running. I do not think she would be difficult at all.”

“She will destroy the country. She will make our country into Venezuela,” he continued. “With that being said I don’t want to say bad things about her because I hope she would be one of the people that would get through the process. Going to be a long process for the Democrats.”

Warren shared the results of her DNA test with the Boston Globe, which was conducted by a Stanford researcher.

“The results strongly support the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor,” the researcher said in a summary of Warren’s ancestry findings, adding that the ancestor was likely in her genealogy “in the range of 6-10 generations ago.”
