President Donald Trump accused the Associated Press of misconstruing his comments in a headline about whether he will accept blame if the Republican party loses seats in the 2018 midterm elections, in a Wednesday morning tweet.

Trump granted an interview to the AP Tuesday in which he was asked whether he would share any responsibility in a potential Republican loss of control of the House of Representatives after the upcoming 2018 midterm elections.
