Trump Accuses AP Of Misleading Headline After Interview
President Donald Trump accused the Associated Press of misconstruing his comments in a headline about whether he will accept blame if the Republican party loses seats in the 2018 midterm elections, in a Wednesday morning tweet.
AP headline was very different from my quote and meaning in the story. They just can’t help themselves. FAKE NEWS!

Trump granted an interview to the AP Tuesday in which he was asked whether he would share any responsibility in a potential Republican loss of control of the House of Representatives after the upcoming 2018 midterm elections.
“No, I think I’m helping people. Look, I’m 48 and 1 in the primaries, and actually it’s much higher than that because I endorsed a lot of people that were successful that people don’t even talk about.” (RELATED: Trump Doubles Down On His Support For Combat Vet And Businessman John James)
The AP interpreted Trump’s comments with the headline: “Trump Tells AP he won’t accept blame if GOP loses House.”
